Judy McEnaneyI am a retired high school teacher from the Lansing Michigan area with a BA & MA in art education from Michigan State University. I moved to Florida in 1998 and began studying the art of Sumi-e. With a background which included painting in the style of Abstract Expressionism, Sumi-e seemed somewhat familiar but also presented new challenges.
I have had my work exhibited in several galleries with many pieces in private collections. Teaching has always been my passion and I still conduct occasional workshops. I am a member of the Sumi-e Society of America, Inc. and the Sarasota Chapter, currently serving as treasurer. |
Nancy DellamuraI was introduced to Sumi-e and Asian Brush Painting by Frederica Marshall in February 2015, in our Tai Chi/Sumi-e Workshop. My favorite subject to paint is the horse. My favorite style of painting is Contour Style. All four paintings are done on raw single shuen and have been dry mounted.
